Zak is passionate about helping others achieve their health and fitness goals as well as assisting them in paving the way to living happier and healthier lives. He began his fitness journey in high school as a multi-sport athlete participating in baseball, football and basketball. He also attended strength and conditioning training sessions outside of his regular sport practices. This passion led him to Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, where he majored in biology in neuroscience and minored in psychology. He was also a member of the ISU Exercise Science Club and played on ISU’s DI club baseball team. Additionally, Zak has interned at several prestigious strength and conditioning facilities, including Athletic Evolution Nike SPARQ Training Facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Zak joined the Higher Power Training team in January 2019, and is excited about sharing his passion and expertise with clients.
