BIOGRAPHY
Katie started her career as a skating coach in 1997. At a young age the exposure to elite training methods ignited her fascination with training and desire for more knowledge about fitness. After earning her Gold test in figure skating Katie sought out an education that would support her love for working with people to achieve their goals. Through her Degree in Kinesiology, the study of human movement, and the help of mentor Kim Ayres at Mission Accomplished in Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Katie started training in 2001 and has never looked back. Coming to Higher Power Training in 2004 was yet another amazing experience of non-stop learning and developing new skills.
After the birth of her son and daughter, Katie became passionate about encouraging men and women to take care of their imbalances to help with the changes that accompany parenthood and aging. Katie believes it is never to late to start taking care of your body. Health is not about a destination or arrival at perfection, but an ever-challenging journey to make self-care a priority.
