Research Based- Practice Proven Training
The key to maximizing sport performance goes beyond the routine of practice and drills. Instead, the skills of sport should be merged with enhancing an athletes’ ability to run faster, jump higher, and react quicker. To do this, you need a team that has a reputation of results.
Higher Power Training utilizes a magnitude of sports specific training methodologies to take an athlete from average to exceptional. We train you to go beyond routine performance; we train you to be a champion. Training needs to be specific to the needs of the individual and the sport. Goals for sports performance training are:

Why Choose Higher Power Training
The HPT team has worked with athletes from the pee wee to the professional level. Unlike many current trainers out there, we are a team of professionals. Although some trainers today earn their certification in a few hours online, all of our trainers have distinguished their educational experience by earning degrees in exercise science, even at the master’s level. Our certifications are the most distinguished and difficult to obtain. Several of our staff are certified strength and conditioning specialists through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and we have the only certified Poliquin Performance International Coaches and Biosignature Modulation Coaches in Minnesota.

Sports Performance Assessment
At Higher Power Training we realize that with the exception of endurance sports power is the key to success in most sports. Power is the result of force times velocity. In order to develop power, an assessment must occur to determine what quality need to be trained. Some athletes are fast, but weak. They need more strength or force training to enhance their power. Other athletes are strong, but slow. They need more speed or velocity work to enhance their power. Still other athletes have great power, but are lacking in agility and balance. Our assessment process will identify individual strengths and weaknesses in areas related to athletic enhancement.
